Sometimes we hear, we read or we even meet people who stand out in their generation because of something extraordinary that they have done. That is where you and I ought to be as believers, not in some areas, but in all areas of life. The good news is that from today, you will get there. People will see you and wonder how you get things cheaply done. While others are struggling, you will be doing everything with ease. That wow factor will be all over you in Jesus name With the help of God, I would be focusing on three major things from the scripture earlier quoted. They are. 1. Knowing God. Being strong through knowing God, and. Doing exploits through knowing God. May the eyes of your understanding be enlightened Knowing God. What does it mean to know God Remember, from that scripture, it is knowing God that brings about exploits. This is more than knowing about Him. That is for the general public. Just about everyone has heard about God in one way or another, but it has not done anything for them because knowing about something is not enough until you can put that knowledge to use. To know God is to have a personal relationship with Him. This is knowing Him on a deeper level than just the surface it is having an intimate relationship with Him. The very first step to this is salvation you have to be born again to have a relationship with Him. At salvation, you take on the nature of God, so you can begin to understand Him. The Bible tells us in Romans 1. Jesus as Lord with your mouth, and you believe in your heart that He was raised from the dead, you will be saved. Once you do this, your relationship with Him has begun your road to exploits has started. However, exploits are not automatic. You must grow in your relationship with Him to indeed experience exploits. Let us look at how to do this. Word Study. You must spend time in His Word everyday in order to build your relationship with Him. He is His Word. John 1 1 tells us that In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. So, to know Him deeper, you must fellowship with Him through His Word that is what changes the level of your relationship with Him. What graduates a person from an acquaintance to a friend, is the amount of time your share with them. It is what makes them become like a sister, like a brother, or even a spouse. You must consciously spend time with them to know them on a deeper level. To grow from a baby Christian, you have to spend time in Word study. You cannot remain a baby Christian and do exploits. When I was a child, I spoke like a child I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways 1 Corinthians 1. So, growth is a must and it can only happen through studying The Word. However, that is not enough. Whatever you eat will do you no good, until it is taken in by your body. In the same way, you must also meditate on what you receive from His Word, until it becomes a part of you. Joshua 1 8 says This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you must meditate on it and be careful do all what is in it, then you will make your way prosperous and have good success. The success there is exploits, outstanding accomplishments and these come by studying and meditating on The Word. Meditation is what builds you up spiritually and gets you ready for the challenges that may come your way. It is what makes your family stand out among the rest. Where others are saying you must fight and argue in marriage, because you are getting your insight and inspiration through Word study, your case is different. Psalm 1. 19 1. 30 says The entrance of thy word gives light it gives understanding to the simple. As you study The Word, you receive light on how to relate with your spouse and family members and have a crisis free family life. People marvel at the peace you are experiencing in your own home. It is what makes even your children stand out in life, as you train them in the way of the Lord and bring them up in His nurture and admonition Ephesians 6 4 Proverbs 2. Instead of being victims of peer pressure, they are setting standards in their generation. Remember in that scripture, Jesus was only 1. It is what helps you at your place of work, when you are given a difficult task that naturally you may not be able to accomplish. As you read through the scriptures and find that, There is a spirit in man and the inspiration of the Almighty gives them understanding Job 3. It helps even in your academics. When you discover that you have the mind of Christ 1 Corinthians 2 6, you re orientate your thinking, and your mental faculty expands. It helps you even in issues of life as simple as choosing friends. They that walk with the wise shall be wise, but a companion of fools shall be destroyed Proverbs 1. As you can see dear reader, it is encounters in Gods Word that help you guide your affairs in life. Gods Word is a treasure bank and you will always find something you never knew before. There is something in His Word that pertains to your situation, so you cannot go without making time to study His Word on a daily basis, for any reason. No excuse can ever be good enough.
